Made a card for the Valentine-themed February Challenge over at Making-Greeting-Cards.com. Almost the due date already but i had wanted to join the February challenge since it was announced. The ladies in the group are very warm and welcoming, plus very, very talented in their card-making!
So here it is:
I know. It's a very simple and "calm" card :)
Used My Mind's Eye Bloom and Grow patterned papers (have i already mentioned i'm an MME fan?) and from my stash a strip of tracing paper punched with Martha Steward Doily Lace. Stamped "so sweet" from MME's Fine and Dandy True Blue line (which i spotted all by it's lonesome among the other stamp sets in the shelves of PaperMarket in Raffles City. Made me think if i'd missed all the other MME sets all this time *sad sigh*) on a doily glued on the tag. It gave the card an old and grungy feel, which i like. Placed three Stickles (Crystal) dots (which i should have made bigger, now that i think of it) and Stickled the center of the red flower on the heart. Hmmmm...i think i'm beginning to like these Stickles. I have but the one though and not sure which one to get next, as i'd like it to be one which can be versatile. Later on i'll try the colored ones - excited! :)
Hope you're enjoying what remains of the weekend!
