Hello there again! It's great to be participating again in Scrappin Studio's Sunday Sketch. It's been a while since i've last joined in their challenges and am glad to be in it again :)
Details of the sketch challenge are *HERE*
Below is my take:
Title: Learn. Discover. Grow.
This is about me wanting to impart some bit of advice to my little ones. I want to tell them so much about life. I want to tell them encouraging words when the time comes and i hope we keep an open communication with each other. *SIGH* Sometimes, for a mother, looking into what the future could be is a bit scary :)
Here are some close-ups:
Have stamped some sentiments/sayings. I wish i could've stamped more; used instead Cosmo Cricket's Tiny Text :) They are so nifty and useful and i like them a lot :)
Have noticed only now that some of the Tiny Text stickers are skewed!!! Ah, well, i guess that's what you get when your tiny crafting table is filled to the brim and you've to work by placing your 12x12 layout on top of an 8x8 book LOL! Oh, for me it's ok that they are skewed; it just adds to the "real life" feeling on the layout :)
Patterned papers and embellishments are from Studio Calico's June kit; Cosmo Cricket Tiny Text; Stamps are from Tim Holtz and Unity; Distress Inks, Slick Writer, Kokuyo tape glue, American Crafts This and That foam dots, EK Success foam dots.
Would welcome your comments and feedback.
Thanks very much for visiting! Enjoy the weekend!
