Another LO for Pages with Papertrey Challenge #7

Hello, blog friends!  How's your weekend going so far? Here in Singapore, it's the usual mix of sunny and rainy one day! It's like the sun and rain are playing tag during the day :)

Here's another layout for Leigh's Pages with Papertrey Challenge #7.  This is about our Manila visit last December, when our boys spent fun times with their cousins, on their father's side (i'm the only one who has kids in my family).  The boys enjoyed it a lot and it's the first time that both of them are "old" enough to interact with their cousins.

Title:  Cousins

I've CASE-d THIS layout by Lisa Day from Lily Bee Designs. What caught my eye were the long banner strips and the pretty colors, plus i haven't done this type of page yet :)

Instead of Lisa's banner half-strips, i used one of Papertrey's Half & Half dies cut in half.  The papers are from SC kit and am so thankful for these kits as they make it pretty easy to have lovely color/pattern combinations on hand.

Some close-ups:
Top Left:  Used some stickers where i stamped "Enjoy the moment," and on the light blue lace border the word "smile."
Top Right:  Another stacked buttons and Tiny Tags die cuts.
Bottom Left:  Journalling area.  Have die cut the lamp also because of the lamp in the photos :)  More stickers and stacked buttons.  Have glued  the Mat Stack 4 die cut only in the middle as i was not sure at first if i wanted to put some layers underneath.  Turns out my eldest son wanted to include a message, which he'd written on the skinny strip of blue patterned paper.  We tucked it underneath the Mat Stack 4 die cut :)
Bottom Right:  The Half & Half strips.

Supply list:
Papers and embellishments are from Studio Calico Lawn Party and add-on Rope Swing kits; stamps (Lighten Up, Mega Mixed Messages), dies (Half & Half, Tiny Tags, Mat Stack 4, Lighten Up), inks (Classic Kraft, Dark Chocolate), buttons - Papertrey Ink; stickers - October Afternoon, 7Gypsies, AC Papermarket; ink - Memento; adhesives - Helmar, AC This to That, EK Success.

Thank you for taking the time to visit!  I sure do appreciate it!

Happy weekend!
