For Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday #68

Hello there! Am back today to post a card for this week's PTI Make It Monday #68:  Pocket Cards

It's been a while since my last post, as things have been busy here since last week.  Our nephews and nieces (from my husband's side) have visited us here in Singapore.  Our boys are super thrilled, to say the least, to spend fun times with their cousins.  We've visited places, one of which was Universal Studios Singapore.

Here's a card we'll be sending them (they've now gone back to Manila):

It's a diagonal double pocket card, the tutorial for which i got *HERE.*

I added two strips of paper at the bottom forming two additional small pockets for the tickets.  The kids took lots of pictures and they might want to use the tickets for embellies :)

Here's the card, L-R:
pocket card with contents on the outside; tickets and two inserts.

Have used October Afternoon double-sided patterned paper to make the pocket card.  Then stamped the "Celebrate" sentiment and stars in different colors on the front and on the panel behind.

The pink insert is where i placed the sentiment using stamps, die-cuts and stickers.
The aqua insert is where i adhered photos and again stamped stars and a sentiment.

After forming the card, i actually struggled with the colors from the patterned paper and what to put on the inserts.  However, it's also from the colors from the patterned paper that i took what inks to use and from which papers to get the die-cuts from.

Thanks for stopping by today! Much appreciated!

Hope you have a great weekend!
