Pages With Papertrey #9 - LO #3

Hi, blog friends!

Posting another layout for Leigh's Pages With Papertrey #9. The challenge is to stamp on patterned paper.

I've actually finished and photographed my page without no stamping yet and i honestly didn't feel it is finished :)  Then i saw a patterned paper while browsing online; an image similar to Framed Out #1 inner stamp images are overlapped (am still trying to find the link).  That's where i got the idea to stamp on my page.

The sketch is from Studio Calico's Sunday Sketch from 20 May 2012.

Title:  What A Face!

My youngest son loves ice cream (his older brother is the opposite).  i captured his expression while he was happily goofing around with his small tub of ice cream.  Priceless! Haha!

On the page, i've used the Framed Out #1 inner frame die-cuts and some chevron strips to frame the photo.

Here are some close-ups:

On the left photo, you can see the faint stamped images (in Soft Stone) from Framed Out #1.  On the right photo, some of the few details.

Do your kids love ice cream, too? :)

Thanks for stopping by today!  I really appreciate it.

Supply list:  Patterned papers and embellishments - Studio Calico Glee Club and Pep Squad Kits; stamp (Framed Out #1), ink (Soft Stone), dies (Framed Out #1, Chevron Stripes) - Papertrey Ink; brads - My Mind's Eye; adhesives - Helmar, foam tape, EK Success.

Mayol, this is sooo beautiful! You are such a talented scrapper! You make me wish I still scrapbooked. :-) I love your layout, colors, shapes, and that photo! How cute! I'm with your youngest--ice cream is a GOOD thing!

This is so cute. I love that face! And, all the great patterned paper die cuts. You need to do another layout just like this when you get your hexagons. You are getting hexagons, aren't you?

What a cute cute layout and such a clever way to use the framed out inner part. I'll have to remember that.

What a clever way to use the inside part of that Framed Out! It has such impact and interest. This page is great! Both my sons enjoy ice cream as well. :)
